Killarney Racecourse is set to host OctoberFest, an exciting weekend horse-racing festival from Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd of October. OctoberFest at Killarney Races offers patrons great racing, history, socialising, entertainment and so much more at Ireland’s most scenic racecourse. The two-day, weekend fixture will draw the curtain on a very successful 2022 season at the popular boutique racecourse.
With lots of ticket levels and packages including food and beverage options to choose from, whether it is close to the action general admission tickets or silver service fine dining, there is something for everyone at Killarney Races. Live music, great food and fun for all the family complement the best of Autumn racing at the track this October.
Saturday is a flat race card offering seven thrilling races for spectators to enjoy throughout the day, with the first race off at 1.55pm and the last going to post at 5.25pm. Local businesses kindly sponsoring races include JJ Galvin, Killarney Park Hotel and Kelleher’s Toyota Garage. Visitors to Killarney Races are in for a real treat with live music after racing with Ciaran Wrynn is set to be a real crowd pleaser.
Sunday is a national hunt raceday with seven exciting races over jumps for punters to enjoy. The first race is off at 1.35pm and the last on the card is 5.05pm and TOTE are sponsoring the racing along with Vince Casey – Life and pensions also supporting the exciting jump card.
Please note there is limited availability in the corporate suite on both days so to avoid disappointment organisers are encouraging early booking. For this meeting only the carvery station usually located in the Jim Culloty Bar will be facilitated on the upper deck of The Panoramic Restaurant to the rear of the facility, with ample choice of take away options also available at the ‘Jockey’s Whip’ for those who prefer to eat on the go.
